Anu_oluwaposimi

Concept artist and illustrator

Lagos, Nigeria

Anjolaoluwa Anuoluwaposimi Omolaja, who works as Anu, is a Nigerian concept artist and visual development artist based in Lagos. In more than five years in the creative industry he has designed characters, fashion illustrations and visual worlds for animation and storytelling, for local and international clients and studios. His personal portraits, painted digitally in loose, visible strokes, turn that character designer's eye on people: a pose, a turn of the head, light caught on a cheekbone, the details by which people carry who they are. Traditional styles, he says, carry identity, beauty and cultural memory. He is also a committed supporter of other artists in his creative community.
