This policy explains what personal information Raknida collects, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. It sits alongside our Terms of Sale and Replacement Policy.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Raknida Inc. (“Raknida,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, handles personal information. It covers how we collect, use, share and protect it when you visit raknida.com, order, create an account, apply for trade or contact us.
By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you shop, register, apply for trade or contact us, we may collect your name, email address and phone number. We may also collect billing and shipping addresses, order details, account credentials and the contents of your messages. For trade applications we may also collect business name, role, business address, website, and a tax or resale identifier.
Payment information. Card and payment-account details are collected and processed by our third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems. We receive limited transaction information, such as confirmation, the last four digits and authorization results.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our providers may collect device and usage data through cookies and similar technologies. This includes IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs and interactions.
From third parties. We may receive information from payment processors, fraud-prevention and analytics providers, and, for trade accounts, business-credit and verification services.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, and prepare your Cultural Passport;
- take payment, issue invoices, and — for approved trade accounts — manage deposits, balances, and deferred-payment terms;
- provide customer support and handle replacement claims;
- create and manage your account or trade relationship;
- send transactional messages (order, shipping, and invoice notifications);
- send marketing communications where you have opted in, and let you opt out at any time;
- operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site and our products;
- detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or misuse, and assess trade creditworthiness; and
- comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Shopify and the Shop app
Our store runs on Shopify, which processes personal information to host the Site, take payment and send order messages for us. If you use Shop Pay or the Shop app, Shopify also handles that information under its own privacy policy.
We do not use third-party advertising pixels or advertising channels on the Site. If that changes, we will update this policy first and give you a way to opt out.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions (such as your cart and sign-in), to remember preferences, and to measure and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.
Where required, we present cookie choices on the Site. We honour recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where applicable law requires.
7. Your privacy rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know and access the personal information we collect, and to ask us to delete or correct it. You may also opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Other US states. Residents of states with privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of their personal information. They may also opt out of targeted advertising or profiling.

Our legal bases include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, your consent (for example, for marketing), and compliance with legal obligations.
To exercise any right, email hello@raknida.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described here. That includes completing orders, providing support and replacements, and maintaining records. We also keep it for as long as legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations require. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials confidential.
10. Where your information is processed
Raknida is based in the United States. Your information is processed in the US and in other locations where our service providers operate. If you use the Site from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US. Data-protection laws there may differ from those in your country.
11. Marketing communications
We send marketing emails only where permitted. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send transactional messages about your orders, invoices, and account.
12. Children's privacy
