How it works

What Undeclared means

Undeclared is where a work sits when its tradition has not been declared. It is a public group, listed alongside every other heritage.

Some artists are still confirming the right attribution. Others prefer not to tie their work to one tradition, and that choice is theirs.

Raknida never assigns a tradition from an artist's name or background. When an artist declares one, the work moves to that heritage page.

Questions

Good to know

Why is a work listed as Undeclared?

Either its tradition is still being confirmed with the artist, or the artist prefers not to declare one. Both are respected equally.

Does an Undeclared work come with a Cultural Passport?

Yes. Every work comes with its Cultural Passport, which tells the story of the work, its motifs and its maker.

Can a work's heritage change later?

Yes. If the artist declares a tradition, the work moves to that heritage page and its Passport carries it from then on.

Cultural Passport

Every work comes with its story, documented.

The tradition, the artist and the story behind the work, on a digital Passport you can print and frame beside it.
